SyRRail was founded in 2001 in Damascus, Syria,by Eng. Awad Aloyeed
Before establishing the company, Awad worked with Italferr https://www.italferr.it in Damascus after graduating as an engineer. Starting with just three employees, SyRRail expanded significantly, growing to 345 employees by 2011. The company specialized in railway and infrastructure design, procurement, and construction.
In 2010, SyRRail began building a sleeper factory in Syria, featuring three production lines. However, due to the outbreak of war in 2011, all operations in Syria were suspended. That same year, Awad and his family relocated to Turkey and later to the UAE, where he joined an international company in the same sector as an employee,in Italy, UAE, KSA, UK.
